December 27

Happy Holidays Everyone,

I have been in Vermont for the holidays and working out at a local gym.  For today, I ran 2 miles and did a chest and triceps workout.  It was nice to have access to an indoor gym with the snowy conditions here.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday and has a great New Year.

Day 43

The last post seems to have gone up on the 17th? So I am not sure which day this is. Nonetheless, This week was a 2 mile cardio and a back and biceps work out. Continuing to get the workout done first thing in the morning.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday!

Day 37

Its been a busy month and week.  It is crazy to think how quickly the New Year will be here.

I did a stationary bike and upper body work out.  Again, getting it done in the morning has been a nice transition as it is getting dark by 5 pm!  I can’t think of a better way to start the day.  I hope everyone finishes the week strong and has a great weekend.

Day 16- Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! It is a privilege to be with my family this week and I thank everyone that is away from home supporting our Country.

Our familly did our best to support WeAreOne and earn our Thanksgiving meal. I ran 2 miles and lifted, my brother ran and lifted, my dad ran, and my sister trained for squash.  It was a good family effort.

Again, I wish everyone a happy holiday!

Day 9

After traveling for work for the past week, It was nice to get back in my home gym.  Last week I fully intended to blog a work out from NYC (where I was flying for work) but ended up spending the whole day in the airport– dealing with cancelations and multiple delays.

Today was far from a day in the airport.  I ran for 2 miles and did a core and lower body work out.  While traveling I read that one of the most important muscle group to strengthen is the back and legs.  As we get older these are the muscles that we will depend more and more upon to be strong and healthy.  Although this may be common sense for many, doing the right exercises to remain healthy and fit is key.

Day 361

It is crazy how much can change in one week.  Last week was beautiful weather, then came hurricane Sandy.  My thoughts and prayers go out to all those that were affected by the storm.  I am fortunate to say that the affects were not to bad in Hudson, but it is hard to pick up a newspaper without seeing the tragic work of Mother Nature.

Today’s workout was confined to the Fitness center.  I did two miles on the treadmill, an upper body workout, followed by some basketball.

4 more days until one year of blogging!

Day 354

It has been unusually beautiful for this time of year in Ohio, Which has been a nice complement for the last week of our soccer season.  Enjoying the weather and scrimmaging, it has been great to coach and play. Today, as well as every day this week,  I played with the team.  We warmed up with a game called hand ball– basically a two hand touch version of Rugby, with a soccer ball.  After our warm up game, we split up into two teams and scrimmaged.  It was a great afternoon for soccer.

Day 348

Aside

This week I extended my run a little and went out for a 3.5 mile run. It has been beautiful fall weather in Ohio and going running has been ideal.  Although I do not have pictures to post, WeAreOne365 workouts continue to be represented in Ohio
