Baltimore

We had a great WAO weekend in Baltimore.  On Saturday, Matt Wood, Joey Wood, Marena Perkins, Christy Arndt, Drew Vogt, Matt Vogt, and Stacey Vogt completed the Rock N Roll Half Marathon in Washington DC.  Their pictures are below.  I also completed a 3 mile run around the Baltimore Harbor.  With the weather finally picking up, we expect to have a lot more outside works taking place.

We also have finalized the details of our 5k event hosted in Baltimore.  The 5k will take place at 9am on May 5th at Gunpowder State Park.  We’re hosting the event with the friends and family of Hereford Boy Scout Troop 92 and are very excited to see everyone out there.

Get your tickets at http://wao365baltimoretrailrun.eventbrite.com/ and stay tuned as we bring more updates.

Enjoy the week.

Sunday in Baltimore

On Sunday, I ran down to For McHenry and back completing a 2 mile loop.  We’ve also been working on our Baltimore event for later this Spring, and think we made progress this week with the 5k partnered with a local boy scout troop.  We hope to add details about the event as the event gets closer.

This week in Baltimore, Scott Kirby and Dan Valerino headed to the Merritt for a long bike ride in their We Are One attire.  Additionally, Mike Kirby ran 2 miles and completed a 3 mile bike ride.

But the exciting news this week comes from Northern Baltimore County.  The members of team Baltimore are in the initial planning stages with a boy scout troop from Hereford to put together a May 2013 event to raise money for the cause.  Stay tuned as we plan to release more details over the coming months.

Enjoy the week.

Day 26: Baltimore

Hello Everyone,

We’re excited to begin the second year of the 365 day challenge.  In Baltimore, we are working on having several other members start actively posting their workouts.  This weekend, I played some pickup basketball to take care of my workout.  Until next time.

Enjoy the Week.

Day 12: Baltimore

We’re happy to be back and involved in year 2 of the 365 day challenge.  On Sunday, Mike Kirby went to the Merritt Gym in Federal Hill for a quick 10 mile bike ride.  We hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and remembers all the sacrifices those in the military and their families do for the rest of us on a daily basis.

Happy Thanksgiving.
