Day 1

It’s election Tuesday and I am in a very red state! Sue and I are in Wisconsin packing up our parents to move to Florida full time. We walked home from church today. It was cold and a little windy. My ankles were cold but it was tolerable.

The walk was a little over 2 miles. It was a nice time to reminisce about our years growing up in Oshkosh. We stopped @ Hardee’s to say hello to an old friend. People have been moving in and out of the house all day taking things our parents have accumulated over the past 50 years. It has made me think hard about ever shopping for things other than necessities….amazing! Saying goodbye to friends and seeing my mom cry is not easy!

Anyway, life is full of changes which are stimulating and I am sure any military family will agree that it’s not easy but sometimes the right thing to do! It’s time.

Goodbye 1600! Thanks for the memories!
