Day 359- Where’s your energy?

We prepared for what could have been one of the worst storms since “Bob” in 1991 but Mother Nature took a turn and was kind and somewhat gentle to some of us here in New England. We were one of the lucky households that didn’t loose power and didn’t suffer any damage. A hurricane of that magnitude creating wind & rain conditions beyond belief in some areas is hard to fathom. My heart goes out to all those who weren’t so lucky.

I went to the smaller more modern YMCA this am @ 9:00 as my usual watering hole had no power. The place was crowded with people of all ages as school has been cancelled for 2 days now. It was strange for me to be with a vibrant group of people as I’m so used to the quiet few at 5:30 am. I didn’t really want to go but forced myself to do my own “Body by Scotty” rountine with some stretching, rolling & core exercises followed by 30 minutes of some pretty hilly terrain on the stationary bike. It was a good sweat and I was glad that I mustered up the attitude and the energy to go work out.

I’m sure it takes alot of energy to get through a single day for our military families across the nation. Here’s to whatever you need to muster up the energy to keep working out on a daily basis!
